Questions brokers ask.
If yours isn't here, email hello@offercopilot.ca and a person will reply, usually the same day.
What is DealCopilot?
+
The brokerage side of OfferCopilot. Your agents write offers in OfferCopilot. When a deal goes firm, it comes to your DealCopilot desk with its documents read and checked against your brokerage's checklist. Your deal admins review it, send it back for fixes or approve it, and hand it to your back office. The desk also holds your dashboard, your offices and agents, and your brokerage's settings.
How is it different from OfferCopilot?
+
OfferCopilot is for agents: it writes the offer, fills the forms and collects signatures. DealCopilot is for the brokerage: brokerage admins and deal staff sign in at desk.dealcopilot.ca, and agents never need to. Both run on the same deal records, so nothing is retyped between the agent and the desk.
Do my agents need OfferCopilot?
+
Yes. Deals reach the desk from OfferCopilot, and every agent seat on the Brokerage plan includes OfferCopilot Top Producer. A deal an agent wrote somewhere else can still be imported into OfferCopilot and submitted to the desk.
Does DealCopilot replace our back-office system?
+
No. The desk ends when a deal is approved and ready to process. Trust accounting, commission plans, disbursements and agent billing stay in the system you use today. DealCopilot hands each deal over by email, with the package and a Form 640 trade record summary, or through an export page where every detail has a copy button.
Does AI approve our deals?
+
No. AI reads the documents, and fixed rules decide whether each check passes. If something can't be confirmed, the check says unknown and the deal waits for a person. It never shows as passed. Only someone on your desk approves a deal.
What does the deals inbox do with our email?
+
When a brokerage admin connects the deals mailbox and turns on reading for the desk, Alfred matches each new email to one of your open deals and suggests what to do with it, such as filing an attachment to the checklist or recording the back-office deal number. Nothing is filed and no status changes until someone clicks to apply it. Alfred never sends an email or chooses a recipient based on what it read.
Who on our team can use the desk?
+
Brokerage admins, such as your broker of record and your deal admins. They see your own brokerage's agents, offers and deals, and nothing from any other brokerage. A brokerage admin works only on the desk and can't write offers.
How do our agents get onto the desk's roster?
+
Invite them by email from the Agents tab. An agent accepts in OfferCopilot and joins at once. If an agent asks to join or change office themselves, the request waits for your approval, unless their RECO record already shows them at your brokerage.
What does a rollout involve?
+
We set up your brokerage, offices, deal checklist, BRA terms and deposit instructions with you, train your desk and your agents, and stay on call afterwards. Onboarding and setup are part of the Brokerage plan, and the admin seat is free.
Where is our data stored?
+
DealCopilot runs on the same platform as OfferCopilot. Deal, offer and account records are stored in Toronto (northamerica-northeast2). Some services, including sign-in and parts of the AI processing, run outside Canada. Every provider and region is listed on our Security page.
Which provinces and states does it cover?
+
DealCopilot is live in Ontario, with Ontario's forms and checks. Each brokerage's checklist follows its own jurisdiction, and other provinces and US states are on the way. If you're elsewhere, book a demo and we'll tell you where your market stands.
